The Mohawk Valley Seniorate will be gathering for a combined Corpus Christi Holy Mass and procession hosted by Sacred Heart of Jesus/Holy Cross Parish in New York Mills, NY on Saturday, June 17th with Holy Mass starting at 11am. Lunch will be served.
Jesus instituted the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper, during Holy Week. Because His Passion follows, we do not elaborately celebrate this event, thus the Feast of Corpus Christi was instituted to specially honor and publically proclaim this great gift.
